GAP-Free Terms

One GAP-FREE consultation per 6 month period with valid Private Health fund card presented at the time of appointment.
If no Health fund card is presented, the full cost must be paid at the time of the appointment and the proportionate reimbursement from individual Health Funds will need to be claimed independently.
The Scale and Clean service does not include a follow-up visit, use of anesthesia, deep cleaning, or periodontal charting.
Lateral Cephalometric X-rays & CBCT’s are not covered under our Gap-Free Treatment, unless explicitly advised by the dentist.
Patients must present a valid Health Fund card at the time of treatment; otherwise, the full price must be paid upfront, and the patient will need to claim the reimbursement independently.

The Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) is a scheme by the Australian Government and eligibility is determined by them directly. Central coast Smiles does not control patient eligibility.
The Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) covers essential dental services such as examinations, X-rays, professional cleanings, fissure sealants, tooth-colored fillings, root canals, and extractions for eligible patients under the age of 18.
The CDBS does not cover orthodontic or cosmetic dental treatments, nor does it extend to services provided in a hospital setting.
Eligible children can receive up to $1,132 in dental benefits over a two-year period.
If the full benefit amount is not used in the first year, the remaining balance can still be utilized in the following year.
Any unused balance will not roll over beyond the two-year period.
