Maximise Your Private Health Insurance Extras
At Central Coast Smile Dental, we welcome all health fund members. Many private health funds offer extras cover that can help reduce the cost of dental treatments, including check-ups, cleans, fluoride treatments, and more. Benefits and annual limits vary between health funds and levels of cover, so we recommend checking with your private health fund provider to understand what’s included in your extras.

Use your extras before they expire
Most health fund extras expire on 31st December and reset on 1st January, meaning any unused dental benefits will not roll over into the new year. Annual limits vary across health funds, so be sure to book your appointment before the year ends to maximise your benefits. Keep in mind that some health funds reset at the end of the financial year (30th June) instead. It’s important to check with your health fund to know when your benefits renew.
