🦷 Daily Care Routine for Acrylic Dentures
1. Rinse After Eating
- Remove and rinse dentures under running water to remove food particles and debris.
- Be gentle — don’t bend or use excessive force
2. Brush Daily
- Use a soft-bristled denture brush
- Clean all surfaces with mild, non-abrasive denture cleaner — DO NOT USE REGULAR toothpaste, as it can be too abrasive for acrylic.
- Avoid hot water, which can warp the dentures.
- Modern Acrlylic Dentures DO NOT need to be kept in water.
- Once clean, dry and place in the Denture storage container

⚠️ What to Avoid
- Harsh toothpaste (abrasive and may scratch the acrylic).
- Bleach or whitening products (can damage and discolor).
- Boiling water or high heat (will warp acrylic).
- Wearing dentures 24/7 — let your gums and teeth rest at night
- DO NOT Attempt to glue dentures together your self!
👄 Oral Hygiene Tips
- Clean your gums, tongue, and any remaining natural teeth with a soft toothbrush with the denture OUT of your mouth
- Rinse your mouth before reinserting dentures.
- If using adhesives, remove the old adhesive daily and clean your gums thoroughly.
